About me
Hi, I'm Lisa, a Bristol based counsellor, helping adolescents and adults with anxiety and overwhelm.
From teenagers to elderly, neurodivergent folk, those questioning their identity, exam stressed, multiple-role overwhelmed, anxious, or dealing with relationship problems and family dynamics, to those with bereavement grief, struggles with diagnosis' and depression. I can listen and help build self-awareness and resilience. There is nothing we can't work on together.
I have experience in school based counselling, specialising in supporting young people experiencing life changes, family breakdown and school based problems including emotionally-based school avoidance/school refusal.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an integrative therapist with a degree in counselling. I specialise in working with children and young adults, over the age of 12. I have experience as a school counsellor, and working with dementia patients and their carers.
My approach is integrative with a strong person-centered foundation. This means that we work how you want to, need more challenge? No problem. Want to bring in some techniques such as CBT, or art? Fine by me. What's important is that you are supported and empowered to make your own choices.
