About me
I’m an Integrative Humanistic Counsellor offering a warm, collaborative, and flexible approach to therapy. I draw on a range of therapeutic models to tailor each session to you — because no two people are the same, and there’s no one-size-fits-all path to healing.
Alongside my integrative training, I’m also trained in Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) — a forward-looking, practical approach that helps you identify your strengths and move toward meaningful change, even when life feels overwhelming or stuck. Whether you’re looking to explore long-standing issues or need focused support around a specific challenge, I offer a space where we can work at your pace and in a way that feels right for you.
I work with clients experiencing:
• Anxiety and stress
• Low mood or depression
• Life transitions and decision-making
• Loss, grief, and relationship issues
• Self-doubt, identity and self-esteem challenges
My role is not to give you answers, but to support you in uncovering your own. Through thoughtful dialogue, gentle challenge, and practical tools, we can explore what matters to you, and help you reconnect with your own insight, resilience, and direction.
I offer a free 15-20 minutes consultation, therefore, if you feel I may be able to help you, then please get in touch.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have excellent counselling experience, knowledge and skills. Achieved throughout my training, and practice. I have completed and achieved my HNC and HND in Counselling. As well as a PDA in Addictions and Business.
I am also trained in Ecotherapy: Walk & Talk therapy.
My previous work experiences and training as a carer and support worker of 7 years has contributed to my clinical quality.
I have worked with a wide range of clients who have had issues with stress, anxiety, coping with addictions, relationship issues, dealing with the impacts of trauma, family conflicts, and many more.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
