About me

My passion is helping people grow into who they deserve to be. I offer a safe, non-judgmental and strictly confidential space for an in depth exploration of yourself and your relationships with others.

I understand how the first step of reaching out can be daunting. Keeping this in mind, I am well equipped to engage with you in a different kind of conversation where I listen and understand you, and where you have the opportunity to share whatever is troubling you.

We meet once weekly at my consulting room for 50 minutes, where we explore together your thoughts and feelings, by understanding the past, and its influence on your present and your future.

We start by booking an initial consultation where I can listen to your thoughts and feelings and to your expectations from therapy. We can then think together about a suitable therapy plan.

Types of psychotherapy:

  • In person/Long Term
  • In person/Short Term
  • Online Therapy
  • Group Therapy

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a professionally trained psychodynamic psychotherapist. I completed a rigorous six years of professional and clinical training at WPF Therapy, one of Britain's top accredited leading institutions in psychotherapy with a reputation for clinical and academic excellence, where I offered open ended psychotherapy for six years. I hold a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) accredited Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and a clinical qualification from WPF Therapy. I also hold a Ph.D. degree (not medical) in Media Politics and Human Development. In addition to my private practice, I am an honorary therapist at WPF, I also see clients in organisational settings within an NHS framework in East and North London.

Professional & Ethical Standards

I am a fully qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist and a clinical member at the BPC (British Psychoanalytic Council), the MBACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), as well as a professional member at the (FPC) Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling and I adhere to their strict guidelines on ethical and professional standards including strict confidentiality and ongoing professional development.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BPC
British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC)

The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) is a professional association, representing the profession of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

The organisation is itself made up of fourteen member organisations and BPC accredits the trainings of its member organisations. An individual who qualifies from one of these trainings is then eligible for entry into the BPC's register.

BPC registrants are governed by a code of ethics, a policy of continuing professional development, a statement on confidentiality and a complaints procedure. The BPC is a Member Society of the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in the Public Sector (EFPP). Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
