About me
Hello and Welcome
Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, but you don't have to have everything figured out before you begin.
In therapy the focus is on you — your experiences, your feelings and what matters to you. I offer a warm, safe and confidential space where you can talk openly, without judgement, and feel genuinely heard and understood.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling with anxiety, navigating relationships, experiencing a difficult period in your life, or simply feel that something isn't quite right, you don't have to face it alone.
Therapy is an opportunity to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing and explore things at your own pace. There is no pressure to have the right words or know exactly where to start. Together, we can create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself.
I work with adults, young people and children, offering an approach that is tailored to each individual because no two people, experiences or journeys are the same.
Most importantly, therapy is your space. You deserve to feel listened to, respected and supported.
If you're ready to take that first step, I'm here to welcome you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Your Journey Begins With a Conversation
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. I aim to make the process simple, clear, and comfortable from the beginning.
1. Initial Telephone Consultation
We begin with a brief telephone conversation to discuss what has brought you to therapy, what you are hoping for, and what support you may need. This also helps us consider whether counselling or psychotherapy is appropriate for you.
2. Initial Assessment
If therapy is considered suitable, we arrange an initial assessment to explore your circumstances in greater depth. You can discuss any goals or desired outcomes you may already have - although you do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy.
3. Therapeutic Contract
We will discuss how we will work together, including confidentiality, boundaries, expectations, and professional responsibilities. This helps establish a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship from the outset.
4. Your Sessions
Together, we will agree the most appropriate delivery method, session length and frequency, and whether face-to-face or online. These arrangements can be reviewed as therapy progresses to ensure that your support continues to meet your needs.
