About me

Therapy can help you live an authentic life and feel more secure in yourself and your relationships. You can process and let go of past troubles. Are there parts of you that you've felt you had to hide in life, or around certain people? Are you in a difficult situation right now and it feels like there's no solution? Maybe something from your past is still troubling you today? Express yourself in a safe environment with someone who truly listens, with no judgement, and breathe free again. I provide hypnotherapy, counselling, and bibliotherapy. Just email or text me to get started - I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

I am a queer and neurodivergent counsellor, experienced in working with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent people. I specialise in bibliotherapy (using books, words, and stories for therapy) and writing for wellbeing. If that's not your thing, I provide general counselling too - I'm here to help in the way that helps you. Visit my website for more details.

Curious about counselling? I offer a free 15-minute introductory call which can help you to decide whether you'd like to work together. In this call, you can ask any questions you have about the process of therapy. Ofrezco terapia tanto en inglés como en español; no dudes en contactarme en tu idioma preferido.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an Accredited Registrant Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am also a member of the National Hypnotherapy Society.

I have a Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice and a Diploma in Hypnotherapy.

Before starting private practice, I gained experience in a women's counselling centre, a sexual violence service, and the Samaritans. I have a literature PhD, which helps with bibliotherapy.

The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
