MNCPS(Acc) The Gay AuDHD and Dyslexic Counsellor

About me

Hi, I’m Kroy — an openly gay, Autistic, ADHD (AuDHD), and dyslexic counsellor. I offer a neuro-affirming and inclusive space that celebrates and supports all those who are neurodivergent, questioning, or exploring their identity.

As someone who is neurodivergent myself, I understand the daily challenges that can come with navigating a world not always designed for us. You might relate to some of these experiences:

Feeling overwhelmed or uncomfortable by bright lights or loud noises
Becoming anxious or upset in unfamiliar situations
Finding your thoughts looping or getting “stuck” on the same idea
Having hobbies that feel more like passions or obsessions
Feeling not good enough or rejected (RSD)
Hearing things like, “You don’t look autistic”
If any of these sound familiar, you’re not alone — and you’re very welcome here.

Starting therapy can feel a little daunting, but my approach is relaxed, supportive, and flexible. Sessions are tailored to your needs, and there’s always space for comfort — whether that’s with fidget toys, music, or even a video game if talking feels hard at first.

Everyone faces challenges with mental well-being at some point in their life. My commitment to you is to:

Treat you with compassion
Accept you unconditionally
Be authentic and genuine in our relationship
Empower you to work towards your goals in your own time and way

My practice is proudly LGBTQIA+ inclusive and affirms that there are more than two genders. Whoever you are, however you identify, you are welcome here exactly as you are.

I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation so you can get a sense of whether I’m the right fit for you.
