About me

Feeling a bit wobbly? Therapy can help!

Are you feeling scared, stuck, confused, lonely, frustrated, numb, tearful or lost? Perhaps you can't really identify how you are feeling, but just know something isn't right or is holding you back? Are you dealing with a big transition, loss, or change? Or do you simply wish for a space where you can be truly seen and heard? Maybe it's a mix of all of the above?

I am here to help!

My style of therapy:

I offer individual, short and long-term counselling via video-conferencing software (Zoom) for all adults (18+). I work with a variety of issues and have a special interest and additional training in psychosexually-informed therapy.  I am currently also undertaking a diploma in trauma therapy.

Prior to my career as a counsellor, I was a registered nurse for a decade, so you are in safe hands with me! In addition to my private practice, I also volunteer as a counsellor for London Friend, the capital's oldest LGBTQ+ charity.

I have trained in holistic and creative therapy and find that interactive tools such as nesting dolls, flashcards and parts work can be a powerful and effective way to get down to the roots of things.

But most importantly, the sessions are client-led and tailored to you! As a pluralistic counsellor, I am happy and able to mix and match therapy models and styles to suit your changing needs.

Book an introductory session with me by using the button at the top of my profile:

The introductory session would be a thirty-minute chat to see if I am the right fit for you as a therapist; and to get to know you and your goals in undertaking counselling.

If you decide to go ahead with counselling sessions, we would arrange a regular day and time for these; and I would send you some documents to sign and fill out (contract, initial consultation form and privacy policy).

I look forward to meeting you!

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
