About me

I understand that the path to well-being is unique for each individual, and as an integrative therapist, I am here to guide you on your journey.

With a BA Hons in Psychology and Counselling Skills from the University of Chester (2008) and a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (2024), I bring knowledge and a commitment to supporting your growth.

Drawing from over seven years of experience working in the NHS and Serenity Counselling, I have developed a deep understanding of diverse mental health needs.

If you are having problems with self-defeating behaviours, addictions, phobias, traumas, or more I am here to help.

CBT looks at identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and replacing them with healthier, more constructive alternatives. By understanding your thought patterns, coping mechanisms, and life experiences, I can create exercises for you to promote effective and sustainable change.

I use CBT in conjunction with other therapeutic approaches, to create a package that will help us address the root cause of your problems. Our success depends very much on the interaction and teamwork between ourselves. We will work together to help you cope with whatever your past, present and future holds.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
