About me
Hello, I am a qualified counsellor based in the Winchester area. Whatever you are struggling with, there is no judgment! I offer a calm, safe space for us to talk and work through issues together. I offer both online and in person sessions as well as walk and talk therapy.
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression or burn out. It may even be that you do not know what is wrong but feel as though you are 'walking through treacle' each day.
Childhood Trauma. I understand how this can often leave a lasting impact in adults. You may have developed issues with trust, relationship problems, hypervigilance and emotional dysregulation.
Domestic Abuse (both men and women). Whether you are experiencing domestic abuse currently or in the past, the impact can often remain long after the relationship is over.
Is this really happening? How do you feel safe? Finding yourself again? Looking forward to the future?
Narcissistic Abuse which can come from past or present, in domestic or work place settings. This can often leave someone feeling gas lit! Experiencing low self esteem, self doubt and anxious.
Know that help is available and you are not alone!
Training, qualifications & experience
My degree in Counselling uses the modality of Transactional Analysis (TA). I find it offers a thorough basis in which to explore past and present issues that are impactful upon peoples lives, the decisions we make and how we feel.
I have attended other courses and workshops to further my knowledge and gain other skills and keep updated through CPD.
I previously worked as an Art and Drama Teacher and like to incorporate a creative therapeutic approach if clients wish to explore in this way.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
