About me
People often come to counselling feeling stuck, not because they haven't tried hard enough, but because the same patterns keep repeating despite their best efforts. You might feel disconnected from yourself or from others, caught in challenging cycles around communication, closeness or trust, or unsure of how to move forward without losing something important.
My work offers a space to pause and look more closely at what is really going on. We focus on understanding the patterns beneath the surface, how they developed, what they once made sense of, and why they may now be causing difficulty. I work at a pace that allows depth without overwhelm.
I work with individuals, couples and relationships, drawing on psychodynamic and systemic approaches. This means paying attention to your inner world, your relationships, and the wider contexts shaping your experience. As understanding grows, new possibilities often begin to emerge, creating space for clearer communication, and much more intentional ways of relating, both to yourself and to others.
If this resonates and you'd like to explore working together, you're welcome to reach out here, or through my website.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I also hold an Advanced Practitioner Training Certificate in Couples Counselling.
Alongside my private practice, I have several years experience working within addiction and domestic abuse services supporting clients with relational histories shaped by trauma, power, control and attachment.
I also have extensive experience facilitating group work and working with individuals in intensive self-development settings. This has been a significant part of my professional development and has strongly informed my capacity to work with depth, containment and a wide range of relational dynamics.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
I offer a free short phone call before you commit to any sessions. This is an opportunity for us to get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit and for you to ask any questions you may have about counselling or how I work.
There is no obligation to proceed with therapy following this call. My aim is to help you feel informed and at ease in deciding your next steps.
I have a dedicated therapy space within my home, with its own private side entrance, offering a comfortable and welcoming setting. I also work from Ascot one day a week and offer counselling online and via telephone to accommodate different needs and preferences.
