About me

Are you facing challenges in your relationships or battling with low self-esteem? Perhaps anxiety, depression, or emotional overwhelm are holding you back from living the life you want. Counselling can help you gain clarity, build resilience and find a renewed sense of direction.

As an integrative counsellor, I combine humanistic and psychodynamic approaches to provide both initial relief, and deeper exploration. Together, we’ll work to understand your current challenges while uncovering how past experiences may be shaping your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

I provide support for people navigating relationships, issues with intimacy and your journey of self-discovery. I offer a safe, inclusive space for exploring all aspects of sexuality and connection - without judgement. Whether you’re navigating traditional or non-traditional relationships, I’m here to help you understand your needs and build more fulfilling connections.

Every person’s journey is unique. Whether you’re seeking to resolve a specific challenge, deepen self-awareness, or simply find an uncensored space to talk, i’m here to support you every step of the way. If this resonates for you, get in touch to arrange a free introductory call.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a fully qualified counsellor and registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).

I have many years of experience working with addiction, domestic abuse services, and palliative support.

I also offer voluntary support to a charity supporting young people.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information

I offer a free short phone call before you commit to any sessions. This call is an opportunity for us to get to know each other a little better and to see if we’re a good fit.

During our conversation, you can share a little bit about what brings you to counselling, and what you hope to achieve. I am also happy to answer any questions you may have about how I work, therapy in general, or what to expect in our sessions. We can also discuss practical details such as availability, and if our schedules align.

This initial call carries no obligation to proceed with therapy if you decide it’s not the right match for you. My goal is to make you feel at ease in making an informed decision about your next steps. If you’re interested in setting up a call, please feel free to reach out, and we can arrange a convenient time to talk.

If you choose to proceed with counselling, sessions are 50 minutes long and typically held weekly. My counselling room is located above the high street in Ascot and requires climbing stairs, which may pose challenges for those with limited mobility.

To accommodate various needs and preferences, I also offer counselling online and via telephone.
