About me
Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, brain fog, burn out? How are you coping with relationships, concentration, organisation? It might feel like you are trying so hard to get by, but are often left feeling like you are just not winning the battle? Overall, it can be exhausting and detrimental to your wellbeing.
While we can all suffer from time to time, with ADHD and Autism, these issues can often feel like the mainstay of day to day life.
A lack of confidence might hold you back at work or in your relationships. Common mental health problems such as anxiety, stress and depression can impact daily life as well preventing you from achieving your dreams and goals. We all deserve fulfilling relationships but so often get trapped in repeated patterns of conflict that erode rather than improve our connections with loved ones. You may feel unheard, unsupported by others. Sometimes in the face of these difficulties, it can be struggle to value yourself. That negative inner voice can exacerbate feelings of low self-esteem, damage relationships, hinder personal development and leave you in a position of poor mental health.
I use my skills in Humanistic Integrative counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Coaching to support you with your specific issues. I also advocate for Neurodivergence and have a special interest, both personally and professionally, in ADHD and Autism. Whether you are diagnosed, self identifying or wanting to learn more, I can help. We can work together to understand your unique experiences and to develop strategies and solutions to help you move towards an improved state of wellbeing.
If you would like to discuss things further, you can contact me to arrange a free initial telephone call (15-20 minutes). It gives you an opportunity to ask any questions and it gives us the opportunity to discuss your needs and ensure I am the right fit for you.
I work both online and face to face. My private practice is in Ferndown, Dorset and has easy parking and bus routes nearby.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
