About me

Hi, I'm Kathleen. I am passionate about people, their inherent worth and their innate ability to change and grow. As an integrative counsellor, I recognise that every person's story is unique. I draw on a number of therapeutic approaches, tailoring our work to your individual needs and goals. My approach is trauma-informed and neurodivergent affirming, helping you gently explore the connection between past experiences, trauma and present-day thoughts, emotions and behaviours. I aim to build a trusting therapeutic relationship where you will feel safe, accepted and empowered.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have over 20 years’ experience in a frontline profession working with vulnerable individuals facing crisis. This has given me empathy and insight into adverse experiences and the impact they have on our daily lives. My work has allowed me to support individuals in community settings and in private practice.
