About me

Hello, I'm Karan and I offer counselling and psychotherapy to adult individuals of all ages.  Life contains difficulties we are not always prepared for. Therapy is a safe space to talk freely and openly about what is difficult, and to be listened to and supported. I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental and reflective space for short-term counselling and long term therapy. My approach is holistic, person-centred, trauma-informed, culturally and socially aware. I am IFS informed (internal family systems) and work within an integrative and transpersonal framework offering the potential for depth therapy.

I am a fully qualified UKCP-registered Psychotherapist working in private practice. I have over 20 years of experience working with individual clients. I trained at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) in West London and have worked as a psychotherapist since 2018. In-person sessions are available in Little Venice near Paddington and I also offer sessions via zoom online.

I offer a short initial telephone consultation before we decide to work together. Sessions are confidential and take place within the ethical framework prescribed by the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy. I offer sliding scale fees of £85-£95 and concessions available based on income.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
