About me
I have experience working with anxiety, grief, depression, interpersonal and relational issues, intimacy, sexuality, self‑confidence, self‑esteem, self‑awareness, and personality. I am committed to anti‑oppressive practice, freedom from judgement or marginalisation, and client empowerment. I have extensive experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community and with issues relating to sexuality and alternative sexual lifestyles. I have completed specialty training in sex therapy and also work with dreams, symbolism, and depth psychologies.
I offer a fully virtual, cross‑border practice serving adults in both the UK and Canada. All sessions are delivered online or by telephone.
My therapeutic orientation is psychodynamic and humanistic, and I am well‑versed in Time‑Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy (TLDP), relational dynamics and patterns, and person‑centred therapies. I promote individuality and personal happiness above maintaining the social status quo. I am pro‑equality, anti‑oppressive, and a strong advocate for social change.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
