About me
Hello, I’m Julie, a compassionate therapist with many years of experience helping individuals navigate a wide range of life challenges. While I specialize in anxiety, I am also experienced in supporting clients with a variety of issues, including depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions.
My approach is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings, thoughts, and behaviours. Whether you're dealing with stress, struggling with emotional well-being, or facing life’s many changes, I am here to help you find clarity, develop coping strategies, and ultimately build a more balanced life.
Training, qualifications & experience
As a pluralistic Counsellor, I believe that every person’s journey is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet your individual needs. I draw from evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic therories to look at the past and the influence it has on you today - through to mindfulness, person-centred therapy, and relaxation techniques to provide personalized care that fits your goals and preferences. While I work with clients on a variety of issues, I have a particular focus on supporting those who are struggling with anxiety, offering tools and techniques that help you manage and reduce its impact on your life.
In our sessions, I create an empathetic environment where you can feel comfortable exploring your challenges and working together toward meaningful solutions. My goal is to help you better understand your emotions, thoughts, and behaviours, while providing the tools to build healthier coping strategies. We’ll work as a team to address the underlying issues you’re facing, empowering you to take control of your life and make lasting changes.
