For you to wake up feeling less gloomy and more positive about the day ahead
For you to feel more hopeful about the future
Receive emotional support
Gain a greater sense of self awareness
Recognise, understand and work with your triggers or patterns of behaving
Take control of your anger
Making a mind body connection
Working at relational depth

DON'T STRUGGLE ALONE!

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an established qualified Therapeutic Counsellor and Creative Arts Facilitator using the person-centered approach and I am a registered member of the BACP, an accredited member of NCS and also a member of APCCA.

I predominantly work with clients struggling with anxiety, GAD, depression, grief, low self esteem and anger management and I have specific training to help you express how you feel when words fail.

I am a qualified Person Centered Creative Arts Counsellor and have a passion for working with this type of therapy. It can be a very powerful approach which is non judgmental and can quickly reach relational depth and unconscious material.

I love working with the mind body connection and I am a qualified “Focuser” (level 5) and Mindful Practitioner.

I have level 2 awards for Counselling Skills and Mental Health in The Workplace and I also have level 3 awards for Counselling Theory, Anger Management Counselling and Counselling for Depression.

I have trained as a Bereavement Support Worker and I also qualified as a member of the Infant Loss Foundation to be able to provide counselling to those suffering from the loss of a child.

Sometimes Personal experience can be far greater than training and as a reflective practitioner I personally use counselling to deal with my own anxiety and depression experiences as well as for my cancer story. I have personally recovered from CFS and I am a Fibro warrior.

I also hold a practitioner level certificate in both Mindfulness Practice and Cognitive behavioural therapy and I have Diplomas in Pain Management and Creative Wellbeing Coaching.

I continue to have counselling and CPD which enhances my personal and professional growth. My most recent training is Person Centred Creative Art Therapy which is a powerful and gentle therapeutic approach, free from judgment. This doesn’t mean that the client has to be an artist or a painter as this is far simpler approach than it sounds and is only used if it is what you, the client, wants.
