About me

*No availability currently*

Beginning therapy is a brave step. It takes courage, vulnerability, and trust  and my priority is to offer a space where you feel safe, understood, and gently supported to explore your inner world at your own pace. If you are looking for a therapist with a warm, attuned, and nurturing presence, you may find a good fit here.

My background includes teaching, foster care, and serving as a school governor. I have been deeply interested in mental health for many years and have over a decade of my own personal therapy, which continues to shape me into a more grounded, compassionate, and effective therapist.

My approach is deeply relational. I work with warmth, attunement, and genuine interest in your inner experience, helping you feel seen, understood, and supported throughout the therapeutic process. Alongside this, I offer gentle but honest challenge where needed  supporting you to see patterns more clearly, develop insight, and move toward meaningful and lasting change. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; therapy is tailored to who you are and what you bring.

I hold a particular interest in trauma work, inner-child healing, and creative approaches that help you reconnect with your authentic self.

I incorporate EMDR into sessions where helpful (optional), supporting you to process trauma, reduce emotional intensity, and move toward long-term healing.

Areas of interest and experience include, but are not limited to:

Anxiety and stress
Depression
Relationship and family conflict
Grief and loss
Trauma and PTSD
Self-esteem and identity issues
Suicidal ideation
Life transitions and personal growth

Your emotional and mental wellbeing is at the heart of my work. If you feel ready to begin a process of healing, clarity, and positive change, I invite you to reach out and arrange an initial consultation. The first step is often the hardest but you don’t have to take it alone.

You can contact me via WhatsApp, email, Instagram, Facebook, or X to book a no-obligation 20-minute introductory appointment.
