About me

I will walk alongside you to help you identify any concerns or issues that are affecting you, explore them safely and confidentially, and support you in rediscovering your inner knowing to overcome them, as I believe we are - and can be - the experts in our own lives.

We are all individuals with our own unique outlook on the world, and as an Integrative Counsellor, I use a tailored mix of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (challenging unhelpful thoughts and behaviours), Psychodynamic (understanding how past experiences might shape your present) and a Person-centred approach (with you in control), to find the best therapy for your specific needs.

I offer both short- and long-term therapy, with a free first consultation (30 mins), and will work with you either face-to-face or via phone or video call. I have experience in working with domestic and sexual abuse, relationship issues, menopause and peri-menopause, anxiety, depression, physical illness, bereavement, concerns around diet and food, as well as the stress of just being a human being in these times. If you're feeling the lasting impact of adversity, such as the Covid pandemic - if you're feeling like you're struggling to adjust and adapt - we can spend time processing those feelings of vulnerability that can leave us unmoored in our present lives. Sometimes we just need a place to download.

'We can do hard things.'

I also have a Diploma in Nutrition for Children and Young people, which many clients have found helpful.
