About me
Hi, I’m Jess, thank you for visiting my site. I completed a MA through BCPC in Bath, and I am registered with the UKCP. As an Integrative Therapist, I am able to draw on a range of approaches to help, including Intersubjective, Gestalt, Psychodynamic, Somatic, and Person Centred.
I am an experienced Psychotherapist who has been practicing in Chippenham and Bath for many years and have experience and training in a wide range of difficulties. This includes suffering with anxiety, depression, addiction, loss, eating disorders, chronic illness, the challenges of neurodiversity, and problems with relationships. I also have experience working with clients who feel they have a lack or reduced sense of self which can impact on our quality of life.
I offer a non-judgmental, safe, and confidential place to talk. Taking dedicated time each week to explore your current experiences can help release difficult feelings and offers the possibilities of meaningful and lasting change.
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified as a Psychotherapist by completing a 6 year Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy. This means I draw on many approaches and disciplines to help understand patterns of relating and how our past can often shape the way we relate and think in the present.
I am UKCP registered giving me membership to the leading organisation in education, training, accreditation and regulation of psychotherapists in the UK.
Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked as a Registered Nurse in the NHS for 20 years, where I gained deep insight into the profound connection between physical and mental health. While I have lived in the UK throughout my adult life, my early years were spent in Vermont, giving me the experience of living in another country during my childhood.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
