About me
Hello, I'm Jenni from Ythan Counselling and I am an experienced counsellor within Aberdeenshire. I am warm, welcoming and friendly. I can provide you with a safe, confidential and uninterrupted space to talk about your issues. Person centred practice is at the heart of my work. I will show you empathy, acceptance and genuineness when I work with you. In our free 15 minute appointment we can see if we are a good match, look at what your needs are in terms of counselling and see if I can help.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am professionally qualified and supervised and I am fully insured and registered with COSCA. I am also registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). All certificates are available on display or by request.
I have over 20 years experience in adult mental health in health/social care, working in both the voluntary sector and the local authority. I am trained in Applied Suicide Intervention Training (ASIST) and trained in Protection of Vulnerable Adults whilst always working in a Trauma Informed way.
