About me
Thanks for taking the time to consider me as your counsellor. You have already taken the first and one of the hardest steps by acknowledging that you might need some support and help. Modern life is hard, I know from experience that having someone in your corner who sees you and hears you is so important. Talking things through with a person that will be neutral but supportive can help you to work out for yourself what and where things might be causing difficulties.
If this feels like the right place for you, then please get in touch. Email, text or phone are all good.
I will get back to you with 24 hours. We can then book in your first session or if you prefer a free 15 minute introductory call so we can find out a little bit about each other and for you to decide if I would be the right counsellor for you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have studied over the last few years at Devon Counselling College in Newton Abbot, South Devon College and of course the University of Life of which we are all lifetime students.

- NCPS - Level 4 - Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Distinction)
- Level 1 - Award in understanding Mental Health Awareness
- Level 2 - Certificate in Understanding Children and Young Persons' Mental Health.
I hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate which allows me to work with children and young people.

Further information
Before training as a counsellor I worked in the Motor Trade for 35 years and bring with me a vast experience of a pressurised and sometimes difficult work environment. During this time I have experienced many times where colleagues have struggled with life and not known where to turn. Counselling is the place to turn to and I would really like to help and support where ever and whenever I can.
