About me

Did you know, counselling can help you –

  • Learn to regulate your emotions
  • Heal from past trauma
  • Build deeper connections
  • Create feelings of safety
  • Develop Confidence
  • Let go of self-doubting beliefs

My name is Jasmine, I am a registered and integrated counsellor with BACP and I adhere to their ethical framework and policies. I work with adults, young people and children across Lincolnshire who are struggling with any of the different complexities that life throws their way.

I have vast amounts of experience with drink and drug dependency after working for substance misuse services for over 6 years and I understand the triggers, traumas and chaotic behaviours around substance dependency and the effects that also has on family members and loved ones. I also have a deeper understanding of the short- and long-term effects this has on children coming from Substance misuse households.

I believe in creating a safe, judgement free environment for all clients so they can be authentic and so they feel able to begin truly exploring what is going on for them, building their self-confidence so they can overcome any challenges and hurdles they face.

My role is to support and facilitate, self-growth, self-awareness and the ability to change in the ways the client wants to.

Initial telephone assessment offered FREE OF CHARGE.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information

When working with Children, I have found schools to be very accommodating of counselling appointments during school hours, however, I do recommend asking permission first.

Your first initial phone call is free and will last approximately 10-20 minutes. This will give us the opportunity to get to know each other and to ask any questions you may have before going ahead with a booking. We can discuss what the best approach would be and what your end goals are from your therapy. I can work in a variety of ways to suit you and your needs.

I hold full indemnity and liability insurance and adhere to current data protection legislation, including GDPR and have Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) clearance to work with adults and children updated each year.
