About me
I am a Senior Psychotherapist in an NHS Community Mental Health Team and I also have a private practice based in Sidcup, Kent.
Someone recently said this about their therapy journey with me:
Thank you so much 😊
My Therapy and EMDR Journey.
I was stuck in a rut, stuck in a hole I couldn’t get out of or see a way out, going round and round in circles. I felt trapped with me and my intrusive thoughts.
Working with Jane in a mixture of talk therapy and EMDR, I was able to cut loose and develop a better and more conscious adaptive mind and way of thinking.
In a safe, accepting and understanding space I was able to explore, deal and accept many emotions, feelings, and memories I never knew were there or why they were.
I feel I have crossed a bridge with a better understanding of my mind, feelings, emotions, and behaviours. I now have more capacity to deal with new relationships, and career paths and to be able to live in the present and enjoy life and appreciate even the smallest things (something that I was so oblivious to before).
I am excited for my future and what it has to hold. JL March 2024
As a Psychotherapist, I am passionate about helping people overcome past experiences that are having an impact on them in the present and affect their decision-making and choices for the future.
I work with adults, adolescents, and children. I enjoy watching people develop and grow in their therapy, changing entrenched negative perceptions of self, helping people to gain new perspectives, face new challenges, and overcome fears.
I work with 3 therapy modalities offering a flexible approach to meeting individual needs for symptoms such as emotional regulation difficulties, anxiety, depression, eating difficulties, childhood sexual abuse, loss, relationship issues, and interpersonal difficulties and trauma.
- Psychodynamic Talking Therapy.
- Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy working alongside my wonderful herd of horses to provide an alternative way other than the therapy room.
- Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an amazing therapy tool that helps people to identify experiences and change perception, leading to healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and responding.
I offer a safe and confidential space and can work with all 3 modalities to provide a flexible and unique approach to help you overcome your difficulties. Please check out my website for testimonials and further information about me, my herd, and my therapy room space.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) is a professional association, representing the profession of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
The organisation is itself made up of fourteen member organisations and BPC accredits the trainings of its member organisations. An individual who qualifies from one of these trainings is then eligible for entry into the BPC's register.
BPC registrants are governed by a code of ethics, a policy of continuing professional development, a statement on confidentiality and a complaints procedure. The BPC is a Member Society of the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in the Public Sector (EFPP). Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
