About me
Whether you decide to work with me for just a few sessions or want to engage in longer term therapy, I will always try to establish a holding and supportive working relationship with you, one in which you feel emotionally held and are offered a space to explore yourself, your thoughts and feelings and your place in the world.
I have a clinic in Wood Street, Walthamstow, London and also work online.
Sessions last for 50 minutes and I work Tuesday through to Friday afternoon. If you would like to set up an appointment please click here.
It would be helpful if, when contacting me, you provide me with brief details of why you would like to see me and what you feel you need help with. Our sessions would be confidential and follow the BACP ethical framework
Where appropriate I am happy to work alongside other professionals particularly in cases where the patient is a young person or vulnerable adult or a risk to themselves and/or others.

- Post Qualification Certificate in Supervision, 2021. WPF, London
- MA Psychosocial Studies, 2011. Birkbeck College, UCL, UK

For over 25 years I've worked as a health and social care professional providing support and advice to adults, adolescents and children in health, social care and educational settings. In 2001 I decided to train to be a psychodynamically informed counsellor, qualifying with a P.G Diploma from the University of Sussex in 2003.
Alongside my work with young people and adults in addiction and mental health services, I provided counselling to adults in a GP surgery and children in primary school. It was during my placements working with children and young people that I learnt the value and techniques of art and play based therapy.
To further my academic studies, I completed an MA in Psychosocial studies at UCL Birkbeck, in 2011 . The course afforded me the opportunity to explore classical and contemporary cultural and psychoanalytic theory and its application in my practice.
As time progressed I was given the chance to establish and manage new counselling projects in both a primary and secondary school settings and most recently held the position of Deputy CEO, Training Manager, and Forensic Psychotherapist for Respond, a Trauma service based in London. During 2019/20, I worked for an NGO in Athens, Greece, providing 1-1 and group therapy to refugees and asylum seekers. Consolidating my work in this field, I completed an MA in Human Rights and Migration Studies at the University of Macedonia at Thessaloniki in 2024, and continue to provide supervision and guidance to NGOs working in Europe.
Since 2016 I have run a private practice offering 1-1 therapy in person and online. In 2021 I completed a clinical supervision training at WPF in London and now provide 1-1 and group supervision to therapeutic practitioners.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
