About me

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor, registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My work is supervised in accordance with their professional requirements and covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Whatever your reason for seeking counselling, I offer a confidential safe space for you to unburden and feel heard. My ethos is to respond to your individual needs, anxieties and distress, providing the right conditions in which to work through your concerns.

I am experienced in working with survivors of traumatic events and the long term effects on mental well being.

I have trained and qualified as an integrative counsellor, clinical hypnotherapist and trauma therapist. I use a combination of these models to best tailor the therapy to your specific needs.

The relationship between counsellor and client is important to the work that takes place. I offer a free initial phone consultation of 30 mins with no obligation to proceed. In this time we can discuss your needs and if working together is right for you.

My private counselling service is based in Kings Langley, which is easily accessible from Berkhamstead, St Albans, Harpenden, Chesham, Bovingdon, Hemel Hempstead, Apsley, Watford, and is in 15 minute walking distance of Apsley train station which is on the main line between London Euston and Milton Keynes.

Sessions can vary in length from 50 min to 2 hours depending on the support engaged, counselling sessions are usually 50 min where Brainspotting and hypnosis can be longer.

127 Hempstead Road Kings Langley has a staircase entry to location, however walk and talk sessions can be offered at various local locations and beauty spots on mutual agreement (i.e. Dunstable downs, Ashridge National trust Estate, Whipsnead Zoo etc.).
