About me
Hi, I’m Iga (she/her),
I’m an Integrative Therapist offering burnout, anxiety and trauma therapy in Bexhill, East Sussex, and online across the UK.
I support adults (18+) who feel exhausted, anxious, overwhelmed or disconnected on the inside. Many of the people I work with are used to holding everything together. They are responsible, thoughtful and often high-functioning - yet quietly struggling with burnout, depression, self-criticism, perfectionism, people-pleasing or the lasting impact of relational trauma.
WHO I WORK WITH
You might recognise yourself here if you:
- Struggle to switch off your mind or relax without guilt
- Feel constantly tired, even when you rest
- Feel anxious, irritable or emotionally overwhelmed
- Set high standards for yourself and rarely feel it’s enough
- Prioritise others’ needs while neglecting your own
- Notice patterns in relationships that leave you feeling unseen, unfulfilled or drained
- Struggle with self-worth
-
Feel disconnected from joy, creativity, or who you used to be
- You’re autistic, ADHD or AuDHD (diagnosed or self-identified), and are trying to make sense of your needs, energy and boundaries in a world that often feels overwhelming or misaligned
If this resonates, please feel free to reach out, I'd love to help. I offer a free 15-min introductory call (via Zoom or phone).
HOW THERAPY CAN HELP
Our work together can support you to:
- Understand the roots of burnout, anxiety and self-criticism
- Reduce anxiety and chronic overwhelm
- Understand your nervous system responses and learn compassionate regulation tools
- Soften shame and your inner critic
- Develop healthier boundaries and self-trust
- Feel safe enough to rest, feel and choose yourself
- Develop more balanced, fulfilling relationships
- Move from survival mode into a life that feels more connected, fulfilling, and true to you
I offer a grounded, inclusive and emotionally safe space where you don’t have to pretend to hold it all together. We begin exactly where you are - with the messy bits, the parts that feel ashamed, stuck, sceptical about whether therapy will help. Therapy with me is collaborative and human, not clinical or distant.
I’m interested in people’s stories and in noticing the patterns that sometimes hold us back. I’ll encourage you to be kinder to yourself and quiet those harsh internal voices, while also gently challenging unhelpful beliefs you might hold about yourself.
I bring warmth, depth, creativity and often humour (when appropriate) into our sessions. I care deeply about this work and feel continually inspired by the courage it takes to look inward.
Thank you for being here. If something in these words resonates, I’d warmly welcome you to reach out.

MY APPROACH
My approach is integrative, meaning I draw from different modalities to tailor therapy to you and your unique needs.
Our work may include:
- Parts work: Exploring and getting to know different “parts” of you (IFS - informed therapy)
- Understanding how past experiences shaped current patterns (Psychodynamic therapy)
- Attachment-focused exploration - looking at how your early relationships influence how you connect now
- Nervous system awareness and body-based approaches
- Identifying copying strategies that once helped you survive (e.g: people-pleasing, perfectionism)
- Using creative tools if that feels helpful
At the core of my work is a relational approach. By building a trusting and authentic therapeutic relationship, we can create the conditions for curiosity, understanding and meaningful change.
I work in a neuro-affirmative way. I am an LGBTQIA+ ally and committed to offering an inclusive and compassionate space.
Training, qualifications & experience
MY EXPERIENCE
In my private practice, I work with adults who often appear capable and high-functioning on the outside, yet feel anxious, overwhelmed, or quietly exhausted within. Many of my clients are navigating burnout, life transitions, relationship difficulties, or the lingering impact of earlier experiences that were never fully processed. I frequently work with adults who are balancing careers, caregiving, identity shifts and growing self-awareness - and who are ready to understand themselves more deeply.
My professional experience includes supporting clients struggling with anxiety, trauma responses, low self-worth, chronic stress, perfectionism, and relational patterns that feel difficult to change. I’ve worked with professionals across a range of sectors, including charities, tech, academia, healthcare (including the NHS), media, and the creative industries. This breadth of experience helps me recognise both the visible struggles and the quieter, underlying dynamics that often sit beneath them.
A significant part of my work is with neurodivergent clients - both formally diagnosed and self-identified - including those discovering their ADHD or Autistic identity later in life. As a neurotypical counsellor, I bring both professional training in neurodiversity-affirmative practice and personal experience of living alongside neurodivergent family members.
From 2022 to 2025, I volunteered as a bereavement counsellor at St Michael’s Hospice in St Leonards-on-Sea, supporting individuals through grief and loss, including complex and long-term grief. This work deepened my understanding that grief does not follow a linear timeline. Loss is not limited to bereavement - it can also relate to the end of relationships, changes in health or identity, or subtle shifts in roles and purpose. I view grief not as something to “get over,” but as something we gradually learn to live alongside.
Before training as a therapist, I built my career in both the corporate and creative worlds, including running my own business. Having experienced the pace of a busy lifestyle as well as the demands of self-employment, I understand the unique pressures faced by creatives and professionals alike, navigating uncertainty, managing burnout, and balancing passion with financial and practical realities. I am bilingual in English and Polish.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
