About me

I am a qualified psychotherapist and clinical hypnotherapist with over 15 years experience.

I specialise in working with Addiction, Trauma, Depression and Anxiety.

I am a fellow of the National Society of Talking Therapies, registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP) and a Senior Accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.

My employment background is in the voluntary and public sectors working with adults needing help for alcohol and drug dependency. I have worked with Alcohol and Drug services, mental health teams, homelessness projects and the criminal justice services across the North West for over 20 years. I have extensive experience working with people who have experienced trauma in their life and wanting to break this cycle.

I enjoy working with a range of clients and feel my professional working background gives a unique perspective into my psycho-therapeutic practice.

The human mind and body is a fascinating and a hugely powerful tool. It is the way we apply ourselves that determines the quality of life that we lead. I will work with you to ensure that we get the best possible outcome in the most effective way for you.

I offer a friendly and confidential and no judgmental service and I believe strongly that we all have a capacity to achieve our goals and are able to overcome issues and obstacles that have arisen recently or been with us since childhood.

I work face to face, online and over the telephone so whichever medium is best for you. I can be there.
