About me
I help people who struggle with shame and low confidence. If you feel like you're not good enough or don’t belong, you’re not alone and counselling can help.
I offer safe, confidential and judgement-free online counselling where you can talk about whatever you want. You get to choose each week how you want to take part in the sessions – whether you want to have your camera on or off or whether to have email, video or audio counselling.
As a person-centred counsellor, I believe that you are the expert on yourself, and that you have the ability to heal and grow within you, all you need are the right conditions from me – empathy, complete acceptance and openness. I am also a qualified yoga teacher and can offer gentle therepeutic yoga practices as part of the session if this is something you would like.
I want to help you to feel free to be yourself, to grow in confidence and self-acceptance and to finally feel like you belong.
There’s no right or wrong way to do counselling as a client, and I understand that it can take a long time to build trust. I’m here to listen to whatever you have to say, and there’s no pressure to open up before you're ready to do so. You're in complete control.
I'm fully qualified, insured and DBS checked and hold a current safeguarding certificate. I see a supervisor regularly and am comitted to working in a way that is safe and ethical, acting in your best interest.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I offer counselling online. This is either via:
- Video call using a secure platform called ProtonMeet where we can see and hear each other and talk just like in a face-to-face session.
- Or audio counselling which is also using ProtonMeet but with both cameras switched off so it's more like a phone call.
- Or email counselling where you send me an email of up to 750 words and I respond by a set day.
You can choose whichever option suits you from week to week (as long as you give me notice).
