About me

Are you feeling anxious, depressed or maybe you're struggling with low self-esteem?

Perhaps you're finding yourself becoming increasingly isolated from friends and family. Maybe work feels stressful, and you're not sure how much more you can take.

Life doesn’t always go as planned, and it can sometimes feel like everything is out of your control. When relationships break down or things don’t work out as expected, it can stir up feelings of disappointment, sadness, or even anger.

Although these feelings are painful, they are often part of being human. They can arise from unexpected changes or challenges and sometimes leave us questioning our worth or purpose.

As a counsellor, I will support you in exploring your feelings and beliefs.

I can help you notice unhelpful thought patterns, challenge them and offer an alternative perspective. I can also offer tools to help you cope, set realistic goals, and build a greater sense of self-worth.

We will work together to get you where you need to be, whether that's feeling more confident, more relaxed or building up the courage to make a needed change in your life.

As an integrative counsellor, the therapy I offer draws from a number of different approaches to suit your needs best. We’ll review our work together regularly to ensure you’re finding it beneficial and the therapy is moving at a pace that’s comfortable for you.

I offer online and telephone counselling as well as in-person counselling.

I also offer outdoor counselling, if you'd prefer to get out of the counselling room we can take therapy outside, whether that's going for a walk or finding a spot to sit and reflect.  This approach can be helpful if you feel anxious about sitting opposite someone and would prefer to be side by side.  Alternatively maybe you'd just like to get outside and feel the benefits of moving whilst working through your issues.

You may want a block of sessions where you work towards a specific goal or maybe you'd like something longer term to cover a number of issues.

If you would like to find out more about how I can help you please take a look around my website or message me to have a 15-minute chat to see if we click.
