About me

Life is sometimes hard and confusing, and we can find ourselves stuck, in pain, or in need of a way to work through these issues and find the path back to ourselves. I believe that when we choose to step into a safe, confidential, supportively challenging space that counselling can provide, there is real potential for personal learning, healing, and growth. Therapy holds the potential for greater self-awareness and connection; the possibility to make changes and to move forward in life with insight and authenticity. If you're thinking of starting therapy, it can feel like an intimidating process. When you find the right therapist for you, therapy can be something that has a truly healing impact on your life. As a therapist, I work in an interactive way, where I strive to nurture the therapeutic relationship. This means that by building trust and offering a space where you can feel heard, understood, and valued, whilst also being challenged, you can heal and grow without judgment. My aim is to be fully present with you in therapy, and to offer a warm and genuine relationship with your mental and emotional well-being at the centre of our work.

If you're interested in potentially working together, the first step would usually be for us to have a confidential phone consultation, to talk about the possibility of working together and how that may look. The next step would then be an initial session, where we would discuss the therapy contract, you may want to ask me questions to get to know me and gauge how you may feel entering into therapy with me. It’s important that you verbalise your feelings if you don’t feel comfortable with me, as therapy can feel draining if it’s not with a therapist that you’re comfortable with and feel you can be open with. The Initial session can be face to face, via phone or online remotely depending on your preference.
