About me

Hello, I’m Hannah (she/her). Whatever brings you here, as an integrated person-centred counsellor, I offer a confidential, calm and compassionate space where you can be yourself.

Beginning counselling can feel daunting, especially when you're facing the impact of trauma, loss, addiction, or difficult life experiences. You may be struggling with relationships, identity, anxiety, or depression — or simply have a sense that something isn’t quite right.

I believe the quality of our relationships, both past and present, along with the cultural, societal, and family stories we grow up with, can stay with us deeply. They shape how we see ourselves, our self-worth, how we relate to others, and how we navigate emotions and the world around us.

The heart of my approach is creating a space where your voice matters, your story is honoured, and you’re free to explore things at your own pace. Together, we’ll explore what has happened to you rather than what is 'wrong' with you, to move forward with greater freedom, joy, connection, and empowered choice.

I support people from all walks of life, and I am a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion. You don’t need to have it all figured out; we can start wherever you are. Some people come for a short while, others for longer; there's no pressure and no rush.

My counselling style is rooted in the person-centred tradition, which means I trust in your inner capacity to grow and make sense of things when given the right conditions. At the same time, I draw on other approaches when they feel helpful, including creative tools, grounding techniques, and elements from trauma-informed and body-aware practices. Every person is different, and so therapy with me isn’t one-size-fits-all. Our work is collaborative and grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection. I bring gentle attention to the dynamics.
