About me

Life’s big questions can feel heavy when you face them on your own. I offer a compassionate space to explore meaning, values, and the future you want to create.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of your next steps, I can help you explore what truly matters to you - what you most long for - and work towards it in a way that fits your circumstances and abilities.

I’m Ghazaleh Ghazanfari, a fully accredited psychotherapist with the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). I'm also a counselling psychologist in training at Middlesex University. I have completed all components of the Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology program and I am currently awaiting my Viva.

I have extensive experience working with adults in a variety of settings, providing therapy for a wide range of life challenges, traumatic experiences, and emotional struggles. I have worked with clients experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma, and low self-esteem. I am based in London and offer online one-to-one sessions - short or long term - either weekly or twice a week.

I also offer a free 20-30 minute online consultation, giving us both a chance to see if we feel comfortable working together.

My approach is existential, offering a space for you to reflect on your values, relationships, and emotional world, and to deepen your understanding of yourself within the context of your life. This process can help clarify what truly matters to you and support you in moving towards it. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques where they may be helpful, and my way of working is attachment-informed.

In our sessions, you can expect a warm, non-judgemental space where you can openly explore your thoughts, feelings, and relationships. My role is not to impose change, but to help you connect with your own priorities and possibilities, so you can make choices that feel authentic and meaningful to you.

I am registered with the Information Commisioner's Office (ICO) and comply with UK data protection laws.
