About me
Do you struggle with being hijacked by strong and seemingly irrational emotions? Do you feel detached, or dissociated from the reality around you, preventing you from living life? You may have experienced a difficult and traumatic past leading you to question your self-worth, lack trust in others, and feel overwhelmed when you lack control, or when others get too close, too needy, or are critical.
If this sounds like you then maybe we can work together to help you achieve greater emotional control, develop self-compassion and the capacity to better trust yourself and others, and (re)discover your authentic self so you can live a more fulfilling life.
I'm passionate about helping adults who have experienced difficult pasts, in particular childhood trauma and neglect, to better manage the strong emotions, thoughts and behaviours that are holding them back from living a fulfilling life.
I have a relaxed, informal and collaborative approach. I bring my expertise in therapeutic theory and skills while you bring expertise in your own life; together we work out the best direction to go in to meet your goals.

£50.00 for Walk & Talk therapy in the North Down area. This is a form of outdoor therapy that offers a number of benefits for symptom reduction by bringing together counselling/psychotherapy, physical activity, and exposure to nature. It can benefit those who enjoy being outdoor, are happy with gentle exercise and being in nature, and those who may find it difficult to sit still opposite a therapist while trying to process emotions in a traditional therapy session.
