About me
Hi, my name is Fiona. I am a qualified psychotherapeutic, accredited therapist offering in person or online therapy to both adults and young people.
I offer a confidential, empathic and non-judgmental space for you to explore your emotional difficulties according to your individual needs and at your own pace. A strong therapeutic relationship between the counsellor and client is essential to a positive outcome to counselling. As a psychodynamic counsellor I will work with you to make sense of any difficulties you may be facing and look at the links which may exist to your past relationships and experiences.
At present I offer both online and 'walk and talk' sessions. September 2025 will see me expand my practice to offer face to face sessions with a tailored therapy room built with children in mind.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice. I have worked extensively in the education sector providing 121 counselling support to school children, I have found this to be incredibly rewarding.
I regularly partake in CPD and have recently completed a Child Bereavement Course. I believe that continual professional development is paramount in ensuring I stay up to date and relevant for my clients.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
