About us

Hello, I’m Rebecca, a qualified Person Centred Counsellor. I offer a warm, compassionate, and non judgmental space where you can talk openly and feel truly heard. My counselling approach is grounded in person centred values. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and that with the right support, you can find your own path towards understanding, healing, and growth. My role is to walk alongside you, offering empathy, respect, and genuine care as you explore whatever is on your mind. Although my core practice is person centred, I also work integratively, drawing on a range of approaches such as CBT techniques, mindfulness, and creative strategies when they feel right for you. This means that every session is tailored to your individual needs helping you to explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace.

I have several years of experience working within schools supporting neuro divergent children and young people, including those with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences. I also have in depth experience supporting bereavement, suicide, self harm, complex diagnosed mental health disorders, chronic/long term illness and neurodiverse clients along with many others.

This experience has deepened my understanding of how environment, communication, and sensory needs can affect wellbeing. Whether you are a young person, parent, or adult navigating similar challenges, I aim to provide a counselling space that is accepting, flexible and inclusive. People come to counselling for many reasons, anxiety, low mood, self esteem, relationship issues, loss, feeling overwhelmed and much more. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to face it alone. If you’re looking for a counsellor in Rothwell or the wider Leeds area, I’d be honoured to support you on your journey. Together, we can work towards greater clarity, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.

Further information

At eNRGy Counselling Ltd we are BACP registered counsellors and two close friends who have walked our own paths of healing, growth, and transformation both personally and professionally. For several years, we ran a Reiki business grounded in a shared passion for helping others heal energetically and emotionally. But as we continued on our own healing journeys, we felt called to go deeper to understand the roots of pain, the patterns behind behaviours, and how lasting change truly happens.

We’ve trained extensively in Person-Centred Counselling a process that both challenged and changed us. Studying counselling not only gave us new tools, but also led us through some of the most difficult, revealing, and ultimately empowering stages of our lives. We confronted deep personal trauma and adversity that had shaped who we were and through this, we were able to begin rebuilding ourselves with compassion and self awareness.

Now, we bring that lived experience, alongside our professional training, into our counselling practice. At the heart of our work is a deep belief in the healing power of connection, empathy, and being truly heard. We offer a safe, non judgemental space for you to explore your own experiences, feelings, and challenges at your pace, in your own way.

Whether you're navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, we're here to walk beside you. Our private treatment room is in a quiet location with off street parking complete with plenty of natural grounding energy.

With extensive experience in so many areas we're here to help you take the first step toward healing, in a space where you're safe to be exactly who you are. We offer a FREE 15 minute telephone consultation for any new enquiries to see if working with us is right for you and are fully BACP registered and insured.
