About me
Many of the people I work with are sensitive, emotionally overwhelmed or neurodivergent individuals who have spent a long time feeling misunderstood, exhausted or as though something is “wrong” with them.
Often these experiences can lead to anxiety, burnout, emotional overwhelm, low self-esteem, masking or feeling disconnected from yourself and others. Many of my clients have spent years trying to cope in environments that have felt emotionally unsafe, pressured or difficult for their nervous systems.
I offer a calm, relational and trauma-informed space where clients can feel understood without judgement and supported to explore their emotions at their own pace. My approach focuses on helping people build greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, confidence and self-compassion in a way that feels safe and manageable.
I work with both adults and young people, including many clients who identify as neurodivergent or highly sensitive, and those experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, stress, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation or difficulties within work, school or relationships.
Alongside counselling, I also offer equine-assisted therapy and wellbeing sessions from a calm countryside setting in Warwickshire.
I am a qualified, insured and DBS checked Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information
I understand that many people come to therapy feeling emotionally overwhelmed, exhausted, misunderstood or disconnected from themselves after long periods of stress, anxiety or trying to cope in environments that have not felt supportive or safe.
My approach is warm, compassionate and trauma-informed, with a focus on helping clients feel emotionally safe, understood and supported at a pace that feels manageable for them. I aim to create a calm and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their experiences, build greater self-awareness and develop healthier ways of coping and relating to themselves.
I believe therapy should feel relational and supportive rather than pressured or clinical, and I work collaboratively with clients to help them build confidence, emotional regulation and a stronger sense of self.
