About me
AVAILABILITY UPDATE JUNE 2025: I currently have a regular slot on Wednesday morning, a Thursday evening slot and a fortnightly Saturday morning slot. I am operating a waiting list for other slots - please contact me if you would like to add your name to the list.
Do you suffer from imposter syndrome, wondering why - no matter how hard you work - you never feel your efforts are enough? Are you a high-achiever others see as successful, with the perfect life - meanwhile you feel like it's all an act that's about to come crashing down? Do you feel despondent and demotivated, burnt out and unable to enjoy your success, despite achieving all the things that are meant to bring you happiness?
Whether you experience anxiety, intrusive thoughts or feel depressed and disconnected from your life, I can help.
I specialise in supporting high-achievers in burnout to reconnect with their true selves and create the life they truly want for themselves. As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent woman I also offer neuro-affirming therapy for others who are late-diagnosed or suspect they are neurodivergent (ND). As an ND person I understand the challenges and the pain that often accompanies late or no diagnosis - but I also know there is life on the other side.
If you get overwhelmed by every day tasks and caught in the comparison trap, seeing others getting on their lives while you feel exhausted and depressed despite all your successes - I can help you work through these and other difficult, common experiences and feelings. I am passionate about helping people thrive and I can help you get to a place where you can finally embrace your identity, find ways to manage your unique challenges and harness the strengths of your condition.
I also have experience with complex trauma and an interest in somatics and working with the body to develop greater self-awareness and resilience. If you want to understand how to heal your trauma this is something I would love to work on with you.
I run a welcoming practice which is open to all and can see clients face to face, online or via phone or email. I welcome further questions, no question is too silly - so please do not hesitate to get in contact whether by email or phone if there is something you would like to ask. I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I have almost 20 years of experience working with government and the charity sector as a public policy professional, prior to retraining as a therapist. My previous experience includes working on policy areas which inform my interests and specialisms as a therapist now, including working for charities representing neurodivergent children and young people.
As well as neurodivergent conditions I have experience in working with identity issues affecting people as they navigate quarter-life, parenthood, midlife, menopause and andropause. I am a passionate advocate of somatic approaches and positive psychology (the science of happiness) to help people not just survive, but thrive. I offer both therapy and coaching.
