About me
Do you have a diagnosis or do you suspect you are autistic, ADHD, dyslexic, hypermobile or any other common neurodivergent condition? I specialise in working with late-diagnosed neurodivergent people or those suspecting they are, to support them with the common difficulties they often experience.
Do you get overwhelmed by aspects of life others seem to find easy? Do you suffer with anxiety or experiences cycles of depression?
Are you struggling with anger or grief because of the lack of support you received, perhaps being told you're just lazy or stupid?
Do you feel like you have missed out or failed to reach your potential?
I have been there too as a late-diagnosed neurodivergent woman, and I can help you work through these and other difficult, common experiences and feelings. I am passionate about helping people thrive and I can help you get to a place where you can finally embrace your identity, find ways to manage your unique challenges and harness the strengths of your condition.
I run a welcoming practice which is open to all and can see clients face to face, online or via phone or email. I welcome further questions, no question is too silly - so please do not hesitate to get in contact whether by email or phone if there is something you would like to ask. I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I have almost 20 years of experience working with government and the charity sector as a public policy professional, prior to retraining as a therapist. My previous experience includes working on policy areas which inform my interests and specialisms as a therapist now, including working for charities representing neurodivergent children and young people.
As well as neurodivergent conditions I have experience in working with identity issues affecting people as they navigate quarter-life, parenthood, midlife, menopause and andropause. I am a passionate advocate of somatic approaches and positive psychology (the science of happiness) to help people not just survive, but thrive. I offer both therapy and coaching.
