About me
Are you just go, go, go? Feeling like it's non-stop? Doing everything for everyone? Perhaps you're struggling to think or focus? No time to yourself or new aches and pains that don't make any sense to you? I can help to take the weight from you.
I am a stress counsellor and I can help. How would it feel to take some time out for you? A time to let off steam and reconnect with the real you. Start to relax and enjoy life again without the constant rush. Less snapping at your kids in the morning, no more dreading going to work because you can't think clearly. A more chilled, focused and productive you, without the current stress you're under now.
We all suffer from stress, even me, and we need it in our lives but we don't want it to become the norm, taking over our mind and bodies. Letting things build up for too long isn't good for us. There are many things we can do to help ourselves, but sometimes just explaining it all to someone who doesn't know you can be the best outlet.
I work to the person-centred approach, meaning that you are the person who is the expert in the (virtual) room. You know your life, your circumstances and I will join you in your journey, walking alongside you. How we work in our sessions is based on what you bring to the therapy sessions. They are your sessions, for your benefit.
I work online and in person in Chinnor & Thame in Oxfordshire. I now offer email counselling sessions as well if this would suit your circumstances better. I have a part time practice alongside another job in the healthcare industry.
