About us
I am a fully qualified UKCP-registered psychotherapist, trainer and supervisor and run a women-only practice. I offer room-based psychotherapy, EMDR and equine-facilitated psychotherapy, and can integrate these practices into an approach tailored to suit your needs and wishes.
I am interested in all areas relating to a woman's life, from early childhood experiences and trauma, to the smallest of dreams that has gone astray. I work in a creative and integrative way to help women explore their life stories, heal their wounds, and find the path forward that is right for them. I have a special interest in recovery from abuse and sexual trauma and am experienced in working with dissociation and DID. I also work with boarding school syndrome and the specific impact of early abandonment on girls.
I am the co-founder of LEAP Equine Facilitated Programmes Limited and have extensive experience as a practitioner, supervisor and trainer in the equine therapy field. After a decade training facilitators I have stepped back from LEAP to concentrate on my clinical practice. I work from fields and a shepherd's hut at my home, overlooking the sea and among the horses. It is a quiet, serene space with the privacy needed for deep work.
I also offer online psychotherapy and EMDR, and I am also a recognised provider for Axa, Aviva and VitalityHealth insurance providers.
