Supervision details
I am an experienced supervisor with a busy practice, both with students and more experienced counsellors and psychotherapists. As I have had a long and established career in equine-facilitated work, I bring extensive experience for those who incorporate animals into their practice, and those inviting the natural world into their work. I am also a UKCP-registered psychotherapist with a room-based practice, equine practice and EMDR practice, and offer supervision and supervision-on-supervision for room-based and Equine-facilitated psychotherapy and learning.
I love supervision! I find it to be a creative, varied and fascinating process, and I feel it is an honour to be invited into the work of another. My core supervision training was in the Seven-eyed Model, and I am committed to ongoing CPD and further training so that I can incorporate new and interesting perspectives into my work.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
