About us

ELESO Counselling is an online, low cost counselling service.  We believe everyone deserves access to quality mental health support, without the financial strain that often comes with private therapy. Our mission is to make counselling accessible, affordable, and inclusive for all adults aged 18 and over. We provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings and work towards greater self-awareness, resilience, and well-being.

We know that reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step. High costs can make it even harder, and for many, it can feel out of reach. That’s why ELESO Counselling was created, to offer low-cost, professional therapy that’s both compassionate and confidential.

Our service is delivered online, making support easily accessible wherever you feel most comfortable. Sessions can take place via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet, and telephone sessions are also available if you prefer.

We understand that life can be busy and unpredictable, so our flexible, online approach means we can work around your schedule and needs. Whether you’re looking for support with anxiety, low mood, relationships, self-esteem, or life changes, our friendly and professional team is here to listen and help you find a way forward.

Training, qualifications & experience

At ELESO Counselling, our team is made up of counsellors who are extremely experienced and passionate about helping people feel heard, supported, and empowered.

We come from a range of professional and personal backgrounds, bringing diverse perspectives and experiences to our work. Every counsellor at ELESO is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace.

All our counsellors work in accordance with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and the NCPS (National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society) ethical framework, receive regular supervision, and continue their professional development through ongoing training and CPD.

We offer a free 20-minute phone assessment and during this call, we’ll learn more about your needs and match you with the most suitable counsellor for you.

We believe that connection is at the heart of good therapy, so we take care to match you with a counsellor who best suits your individual needs and goals.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.
