About me
I am an integrative psychotherapist offering a warm, thoughtful, and trauma-informed space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. I work with adults, adolescents, and children, and I tailor therapy to each person’s individual needs, experiences, and pace.
People come to therapy for many reasons. You may be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or affected by patterns that seem difficult to shift. You may be struggling with trauma, bereavement, relationship difficulties, eating disorders, body image concerns, low self-esteem, or questions around identity, meaning, and direction in life. You may also be living with neurodivergence, such as ADHD, autism, or dyslexia, and want support that feels informed, affirming, and adapted to the way you experience the world.
My approach is integrative, which means I draw from different therapeutic perspectives depending on what feels most helpful for you. My work is informed by humanistic, psychodynamic, existential, cognitive behavioural, somatic, and creative approaches, allowing us to explore not only thoughts and emotions, but also deeper patterns, relationships, and the ways difficult experiences can be held in the body. Where appropriate, I may also incorporate art therapy tools, mindfulness, and breathwork to support emotional expression, regulation, and self-understanding.
I have particular experience supporting clients with:
trauma and trauma-related difficulties
neurodivergence, including ADHD, autism, and dyslexia
eating disorders, disordered eating, body image, and self-esteem
bereavement, grief, and loss
relationship difficulties
adolescence and childhood emotional difficulties
existential concerns, including meaning, identity, uncertainty, and life transitions
psychedelic integration
I aim to offer a therapeutic relationship that feels grounded, compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental. Therapy is not about forcing change or finding quick answers, but about creating a space where you can understand yourself more deeply, process what you have been carrying, and move towards meaningful and lasting change.
I welcome clients from all backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ clients, and I am committed to offering therapy that is inclusive, respectful, and sensitive to each person’s unique story.
Please feel free to get in touch if you would like to explore working together.
Client testimonial
"I have no words to explain how I feel after my therapy with Elena. I suffered from depression for several years and no one was able to tackle it the way this amazing lady did. I have not only been living happier but I have been achieving goals that I couldn’t imagine before. The sessions are worth it. I would definitely recommend her. Thank you for everything."

The process of therapy with me
1) You can contact me by email or through my website, either to briefly share what brings you to therapy or simply to enquire about availability.
2) I will reply with my availability and can answer any initial questions by email, phone, or a brief introductory call.
3) We can arrange an initial 45-minute session to explore what you are looking for and whether we feel like the right fit.
4) If you decide to continue, we can agree on a regular session time for ongoing work.
What to expect in the initial session
The initial session is an opportunity for us to meet and begin exploring what has brought you to therapy. We can think together about what you would like support with, what you hope to gain from therapy, and any relevant background that may help me understand your experience more fully.
It is also a space for you to get a sense of how I work and whether you feel comfortable enough to continue.
The type of therapy I offer
I work integratively, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches according to the needs of each client. These include humanistic, psychodynamic, existential, cognitive behavioural, somatic, and creative ways of working.
My aim is to help you understand your present difficulties in the context of your life experiences, relationships, emotions, and internal patterns. Together, we can explore what may be keeping you stuck, what your difficulties may be communicating, and what change might look like for you.
Alongside talking therapy, I may also incorporate somatic awareness, mindfulness, breathwork, and art therapy tools where helpful. These approaches can support emotional regulation, self-expression, and deeper exploration, particularly where experiences may feel hard to put into words.
I work with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, abuse, relationship difficulties, eating disorders, body image concerns, low self-esteem, and emotional overwhelm. I also have experience supporting neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD, autism, and dyslexia, in a way that is affirming, informed, and responsive to individual differences.
At the centre of my work is the belief that therapy should feel human, attuned, and respectful. My role is to offer a space where you can feel safe enough to explore your inner world with honesty, curiosity, and support.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
