About me
Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, past trauma, or thoughts that just will not seem to settle? It can feel like too much sometimes. Maybe even most of the time. If that sounds familiar, you are not alone in it.
I am a warm and experienced therapist based in Norwich, offering a calm and confidential space where you can begin to work through things at your own pace. There is no pressure to find the right words straight away. We can take our time with it and figure things out together.
I work with adults and young people, with a particular focus on supporting those experiencing neurodiversity, trauma, and anxiety. Everyone’s experience is different though, so I try not to make assumptions. We start where you are.
My approach is grounded in well researched therapeutic methods, but it is flexible. I draw from person centred counselling, acceptance and commitment therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy, adapting each session to suit you. Whether you are struggling with identity, relationships, work-related stress, or loss, we can explore what is going on in a way that feels manageable. Over time, we will also build practical ways of coping, so things feel a little steadier.
I am an accredited practitioner in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and an accredited psychotherapist with a recognised professional body. I have completed further training in mental health and wellbeing, neurodivergence, and trauma-informed care. I have worked extensively with people with autism, attention difficulties, and complex emotional experiences. I tend to focus on your strengths and your capacity for growth, even if that does not feel obvious right now.
Sessions are available in person or online, with flexible appointment times. The practice is wheelchair accessible. I work with children (11+), young people, and adults. You can expect to be met with empathy, respect, and support that is not only thoughtful but also practical and useful in everyday life.

I have 13 years of Counselling and Psychotherapy experience.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
