About me
You may be neurodivergent, highly sensitive, or feel that your inner world doesn’t fit neatly into traditional therapy models.
Perhaps you’ve tried counselling before but struggled to feel fully understood, or found more structured, talk-only approaches didn’t quite work for how your mind and nervous system move. You may be looking for a therapeutic space where your way of thinking, feeling, and being is welcomed rather than corrected.
My name is Donna, and I’m an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor working and specialising in a neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed way, with over thirty years’ experience in wellbeing and mental health. My background includes wellbeing MH Nursing, Yoga Teaching, Holistic therapies Coaching, Shamanic Healing IFS and EMDR, which all inform a flexible, embodied, and integrative approach to counselling.
I support adults of all ages, particularly during times of transition, when life can feel overwhelming, uncertain, or out of balance. I work with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, PMT, hormonal changes, postnatal depression, menopause transition, and midlife.
I bring lived experience of neurodiversity and trauma, which deeply shapes the way I work. I understand how important it is to feel safe, unmasked, and respected in therapy. Each session is tailored to your individual needs, pace, and preferences, with an emphasis on collaboration, choice, and compassion.
Although our work is primarily talking-based, I may also draw on guided meditation, visualisation, drawing, EMDR, IFS and other creative or body-based approaches where helpful. These can support greater self-awareness, regulation, and understanding, always with your consent and never as a requirement.
Counselling can offer a space to explore who you are, make sense of your experiences, and feel more grounded and resourced in your life. If you’re unsure where to begin, starting with where you are right now is more than enough.
I am based in CR8 Kenley and SE1 London Bridge, offering face-to-face and online counselling. I also offer support groups, available on request.

What to expect in our sessions
If you are naturally creative then this is the right type of therapy for you. I am trained in Psychosynthesis which is an Integral/Psychodynamic Therapy. This therapy encompasses many different aspects rather than a focussed 'one way' and includes working towards feeling whole by connecting with mind, body, spirit and emotions.
If you are not creative (or you see yourself not) then maybe this is the right therapy for you too? Maybe being disconnected from this part of yourself is something you've been noticing and something you feel you would like to reignite.
Whichever path you are on, at whatever crossroads you are currently at. It is never the right or wrong time, it is never too late. Just bring yourself in, make the step towards the change that you are seeking. The change that calls you from a deep place.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
