About me
Hey there, my name is Donna. I'm an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, embracing Neurodiversity, with a background in Well being Nursing, yoga and holistic therapies, with over thirty years of experience. I support adults of all ages, at different transitional times in their lives, with a wide range of life challenges. There are many issues that we can struggle with at different times in our lives, the most common include: anxiety, depression, PMT, low self-esteem, hormonal changes, postnatal depression, menopause transition and midlife. I have a lived experience with Neurodiversity and Trauma. I am based at CR8 Kenley and SE1 London Bridge, F:F and Online.
How can Counselling help?
Although we will be mostly talking. I may use guided meditation, guided visualisations, drawing and other creative techniques to support your growing awareness and understanding of yourself. Therapy is a place for you to learn more about who you are, to help you feel more in control, less overwhelmed and live your life more positively.
If you are feeling like you simply don’t know where to start, then maybe just starting with where you are right now is a good place. Each session will be tailor made to fit your needs. I also offer support groups which are bookable on request. For more background about me please find me at https://www.Creatrixcounselling.com

What to expect in our sessions
If you are naturally creative then this is the right type of therapy for you. I am trained in Psychosynthesis which is an Integral/Psychodynamic Therapy. This therapy encompasses many different aspects rather than a focussed 'one way' and includes working towards feeling whole by connecting with mind, body, spirit and emotions.
If you are not creative (or you see yourself not) then maybe this is the right therapy for you too? Maybe being disconnected from this part of yourself is something you've been noticing and something you feel you would like to reignite.
Whichever path you are on, at whatever crossroads you are currently at. It is never the right or wrong time, it is never too late. Just bring yourself in, make the step towards the change that you are seeking. The change that calls you from a deep place.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
