I have been working as a Drama & Movement Therapist since 2003. I qualified with an MA from the Central School of Speech and Drama. Since then I have worked in special needs schools across London and Birmingham as a freelance therapist. I currently work at a school in London as a senior drama therapist and Clinical Supervisor.
My work is very much underpinned by Jungian theory and philosophy and Depth Psychology. I cater my sessions according to the needs and comforts of the client, and am highly skilled in using creative and body based approaches to work with pre verbal trauma or trauma that may be difficult to talk about. Sometimes, working with an issue through the metaphor can elicit greater insight and transformation than using words.
