About me
I provide a safe, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement.
I offer therapy as a space to explore where you are at, what it is bringing you now and the change you are hoping for. I have experience of working with a diverse range of clients offering short and long-term therapy.
WHAT ISSUES CAN YOU WORK WITH?
I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties and life transitions. I have particular expertise in supporting parents through early parenthood, but welcome anyone who feels drawn to this way of working.
My approach is person-centred, empathic and tailored to your individual needs. I work in a trauma-informed way, which means we move at a pace that feels right for you.
PARENTHOOD
I have particular expertise in supporting parents through pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. This can be a time of joy, but also of enormous challenge, especially when our own early experiences surface or when the reality of parenthood feels different from what we expected.
I have worked in the NHS perinatal mental health services and understand how pregnancy and early parenthood can bring up complex feelings. I offer a safe space to explore these feelings without judgment, at a pace that feels manageable for you.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Further information
I offer therapy sessions in person at my practice in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, as well as online for those further afield. Sessions are 50 minutes and typically take place weekly, though we can discuss what frequency works best for you.
I work both short-term and long-term depending on your needs, some people find a few sessions helpful for a specific issue, while others benefit from deeper, ongoing therapeutic work. There's no pressure to commit to a set number of sessions; we can review as we go.
My practice is rooted in the belief that we shouldn't have to face our pain alone and that together we can open pathways to healing that words alone cannot always reach.
