About me

I am a Couples, Relationship and Individual Counsellor practising as part of Finchley Therapy in North London, with sessions also available at two locations in the Marylebone area of Central London. Sessions are additionally offered online and by telephone, making support accessible wherever you are and whatever works best for you.

Relationships are at the heart of who we are, they shape how we see ourselves, how we connect with others, and how we move through the world. When those connections feel strained, stuck, or simply in need of a little more understanding, counselling can offer a gentle and supportive space to explore what's getting in the way.

Drawing on a Systemic and Integrative approach, I work with couples to gently unpack the dynamics, patterns, and unspoken narratives that can build up over time. Together, we explore how individual histories, communication styles, and emotional responses influence the relationship, and how, with greater awareness, things can begin to shift. In individual sessions, I offer a warm, non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

Alongside therapy, I offer Parenting Coaching drawing on over 15 years of experience with families, Family Mediation for those navigating strained family relationships, and Workplace Counselling for those facing the emotional demands of professional life.

The issues I work with include relationship and couples difficulties, fertility concerns, anxiety, depression, stress, anger management, self-esteem, self-harm, ADD/ADHD, children's emotional wellbeing, and issues relating to culture and race.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold an extensive range of postgraduate qualifications in systemic, psychodynamic and relationship-focused therapy. These include a Professional Certificate in Couple and Relationship Therapy (accredited by COSRT), a Postgraduate Diploma in Systemic Family Therapy (Children-Focused Systemic Practice), a Graduate Diploma in Systemic Family Therapy (Couples and Families), and a Certificate in Psychodynamic Marital and Couple Counselling. I am also a qualified Interpersonal Mediator Practitioner and hold a BICA Advanced Certificate in Fertility Counselling. In addition, I am trained in seven evidence-based parenting programmes.

With over 15 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families, I bring a depth of clinical knowledge across a wide range of presenting issues. My integrative approach draws on systemic and psychodynamic frameworks, always tailored to the unique needs of each client.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
