- Hi my name is Danielle and I am a qualified Individual and Couples counsellor.
- I am a member of the BACP and abide by their code of ethics.
- I believe that by providing a safe, non judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings, positive change can take place.
Couples Counselling or Relationship Counselling, is a talking therapy for two people who are in a intimate relationship.
It's aim is to provide a caring and supportive environment for you to find a way through any difficulties you may have.
Talking to someone who is impartial can help.
- I had training from Women's Aid on Abuse. I have studied, in depth, the impact on Abuse and neglect during childhood, carrying over into our Adult lives.
The role of a couple's counsellor is to facilitate change by proving a safe, non judgemental space, for you to both explore your thoughts and difficulties.I feel the relationship between client and counsellor is paramount, and for this reason I like to arrange a pre session. This is half an hour for us to meet and discuss the best approach and way forward.
