About me
Helping Women Heal and “Find Their Shine.”
Are you carrying the weight of emotional wounds while trying to hold everything together? As a mother, you give so much to those around you, yet deep down, it feels like you’ve lost a part of yourself.
Do you find yourself repeating the same cycles, unsure how to break free?
If you’re carrying the pain of sexual abuse, together, we can work through the impact it has had on you so it no longer holds power over your future.
I specialise in supporting women who:
💜 Are navigating parenthood after an abusive relationship.
💜 Are single parents feeling overwhelmed and stuck.
💜 Have children with SEN and/or disabilities.
💜 Want to heal from their past and create a better future for themselves and their families.
Perhaps you feel angry about the past—about the experiences that shaped you, the things you couldn’t control, or the ways life has been unfair. That anger is valid. It can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to consume you.
Together, we can work to process these emotions so they no longer hold power over your future.
The past may linger, shaping your thoughts, emotions, and self-perception—but it doesn’t have to define you.

How I Can Help You
I provide in-person sessions in Stoke-on-Trent and online counselling, making support accessible wherever you are. Whether you feel emotionally drained, overwhelmed by the past, or unsure of your identity, I’m here to help you feel empowered again.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified psychodynamic counsellor with a degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Health Psychology. My training has given me a strong foundation in understanding human behaviour, unconscious processes, and how past experiences shape our present emotions and relationships.
I am especially passionate about supporting mothers, helping them navigate the challenges of identity, self-worth, and emotional well-being.
In addition to private practice, I have worked in an SEN school, providing support to children with additional needs and their families. This experience has deepened my understanding of the unique pressures parents face, particularly mothers, and informs my compassionate and insight-driven approach.
My continued professional development ensures that I stay informed on the latest research and therapeutic approaches to best support my clients.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
