About me

Psychotherapy in Chelsea for anxiety, relationships and self-esteem

I am a UKCP-registered psychotherapist based in Chelsea, Central London, working with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, shame, self-esteem and relationship difficulties. I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds, with a particular understanding of creative and demanding professional environments.

You may be feeling anxious, stuck or overwhelmed. You might find yourself overthinking, worrying about what others think, being hard on yourself, or repeating patterns in relationships that are difficult to change. Sometimes there is simply a sense of disconnection, or that something isn’t quite right, without knowing exactly why.

Therapy offers a space to slow things down and understand what’s happening beneath the surface. You don’t need to arrive with everything figured out. I work in a gentle but direct way, and rather than simply telling you what needs to change, we can become curious about what you are feeling, what you might need, and the patterns or earlier experiences that may be shaping how you relate to yourself and others today.

Over time, therapy can help you understand yourself with less judgement, respond differently to familiar patterns, and have more choice in how you relate to yourself and the people around you.

You don’t have to be in crisis for therapy to be useful. Sometimes the starting point is simply wanting to understand yourself better, or wanting something in your life or relationships to feel different.

I offer weekly 50-minute sessions in Chelsea or online, at £120 per session. I also offer a free 20-minute initial consultation so we can briefly discuss what brings you to therapy and whether working together might feel right.

A Creative & Professional Perspective

Alongside my psychotherapy practice, I continue to work in Film and Television, where I have spent 15 years in senior roles, including at a BAFTA award-winning production company. This gives me a particular understanding of creative and demanding professional environments, including the complexities of ambition, responsibility, relationships at work, and balancing a sense of yourself with the demands of your career.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified humanistic psychotherapist and registered member of the UKCP, with an MSc with Distinction in Humanistic Psychotherapy. My approach is relational and draws on a range of humanistic and integrative psychotherapy traditions.

Clinical Experience:

  • St Charles Mental Health Crisis Assessment Service (MHCAS): supporting people experiencing acute psychological distress as part of a multidisciplinary team..
  • Central School of Speech and Drama: working as an in-house psychotherapist with students across creative and performance disciplines.
  • Metanoia & Headstrong Counselling Services: providing psychotherapy to people with a broad range of emotional and relational difficulties.
